Continuing with the festive theme with this week's get pushed challenge and my third attempt at it. This one does not have baubles and but has plenty of bokeh. Using my bokeh cutouts after a long time. This is SOOC

As per Kaz "I'm thinking Christmas but also a photo challenge that I struggle with so will hand it to you and let you teach me......so your Get-Pushed challenge this week is Show-Me-The-Bling, I want to see shiny, reflective, light capturing bling + bokeh. Well 'tis the season of fairy lights and baubles"
@alisonp Bokeh cutouts also referred to as shaped bokeh, cutsom bokeh etc etc is just a bit of black (thick) paper that is wrapped on the lens and a small shape cutout in the centre. it works best of its a prime lens like a 50mm and the paper is very close to the lens, as close as a filter. The size of the cutout can be large but I find a 1.5cm diameter works best. Have a look at my images on the following dates for more examples. 10/5, 11/5, 13/5, 31/7 and 1/8. Out of these, 13/5 is my favourite.
this is excellent! it's quite dreamy. those stars at the top seem to be floating away and that green one just grabs attention to the whole thing. beautiful!
