Trying to learn how to process HDR. Processed this with HDR toning in CS5. Not sure if it makes the cut for HDR. Critique and tips welcome
Surprised no one has challenged me to do HDR for get pushed :-) hint hint
I know nothing about HDR Abhijit, but this is a lovely shot! You've caught a beautiful sunset framing the ship ( had to check the date, thought it couldn't have been tonight, lol).
ha..... now that you have put it out there, I am sure your next few challenges will involve more HDR. It's a fab shot btw and I love the way the sun has illuminated the sky :)
Nice photo Abhijit. It has a bit of an HDR look to it - attenuated contrast, slight 3D feel and a bit of ghosting - but I probably wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't said (that's good). I very much doubt whether heavy handed tonemapping would have any beneficial effect on this picture.
I reckon this is almost there. The distraction is what looks like chromatic aberrations/ghosting on that building on the left. You could crop it out or use CS5 to get rid of it. See how it comes up then. Good job.
Had a quick look at the tutorials. Look simple enough to follow. Am going to try tonight
