This is the most serendipitous shot I have ever taken. I had no plans of taking such a shot, had not even planned to take photos at all at the time. This was taken just after I finished work in the car park. I was walking towards the car and saw the moon. Normally I would look at something and think I wish I had my camera with me. Yesterday I realised I did in fact have my camera with me. So I decided to take just a couple of moon shots. I set up the camera and the heavy new lens on the tripod and was just starting to focus in live view when I saw something move across the moon. I instinctively pressed the shutter button and then realised it was a plane flying across. It left me speechless for a number of minutes. The shot is not very sharp as I had not properly focused. I sat there for about half an hour after this shot hoping another plane would fly across. Many did but none came near the moon. I know its a long story but I had to share it.
Well this just has to be a fave for the fact that it would have to be a pretty rare shot!! I know I've never seen one like it, and I would have been speechless also.....very cool!
