there's a tool in Photoshop (and GIMP) that allows you to change distortion, in GIMP it's called the perspective tool. It would let you pull out the top of the picture and push in the bottom to square it up, but then you need to crop to deal with the blank areas you've created in the image. I do use it for some things - skyscrapers with lines, to make all the horizontal lines horizontal, but sometimes I like the look of the camera aberrations
