It was a hot, flat day, but as evening approached huge cumulus clouds formed. A few hours later the non-stop thunderous sound of hail bouncing in the clouds began. Thankfully the storm set up to the south of us, though we were treated to the drop in temperature that comes with hail storms. Just at sunset the tell-tale bubble clouds that signal the aftermath of a storm showed up. Thankfully, we were north of this one, with just a magnificent display.
