WOD: mushroom. Mushroom or toadstool? This little bit of fungi was hidden amidst the stems of grass where the lawn receives daily sun. The shadier area under the lilacs had some pebbly little puffball mushrooms, but they just aren't as photogenic as this little toadstool. Its slender stem and wrinkled cap bring to mind the toadstools of folk lore and fairy tales.
