...I knew him, but not well. In late winter an old raccoon took up residence here in the yard. I'm not sure if he was an abandoned pet, but he was clearly comfortable around the cats, dogs, and people. He ate cat food, slept with the cats, and near the end of May he died. I moved him to the windbreak. His weathered bones haven't told me his story, but I hope he found some comfort here. Oh! This is for the Graeme Stevens Halloween theme.
Perfect for the Graeme Halloween theme....methinks I need to find some skulls, but I refuse to exhume my kitty from her resting ground in our backyard! ;-))
