Filip challenged me to try some light painting this week. Youngest likes light painting, so she tried her hand at it too. It is hard to not touch the cards, but I liked the ghosting of the fallen ace. It does look a bit better on black if you are so inclined.
@shepherdmanswife Thanks! It's really pretty simple. I used one of those button keychain lights because I like the narrowest beam I can get. The cards are standing up with a bit of floral clay. You have to keep the light as close to the ground as possible to keep the light trail low. So I started first by briefly shining the light on the cards, turning it off, then turning it on near the ground by a card and slowly drawing circles around each card until the shutter closed. It takes a few tries and a steady hand but is kind of addictive.
