Walking the line

One of the things I love about this community is the opportunity it provides to grow and learn in photography. Among these is the "100 happy days" challenge, which I read about here. Wanting to learn to use my phone camera, I signed up for the challenge and am posting on Instagram. All new to me! This is one of my phone photos ... stopped along the highway during golden hour to get some milkweed pods and seeds and this little lady bug walked by. Edited and posted from my phone. I'm learning!!

This is an amazing photograph ... I am just getting into iPhone photography myself so I appreciate the skill you must have used to get this. That aside, the colours are so complementary, it just zings.

@irisr Thank you! I'm just learning too. Started this week. I have a few apps on the phone ... Camera Plus because of the macro option and VSCO because of the editing (and it was free). I know I can put on a Lightroom app but I'm doing fine with VSCO so think I'll just stick to that for now. Just learning where the lens is pointing and how to compose on a phone has been a huge learning curve for me. Practice helps!
