here they come

A bit abstract, but the feathery crystals are beginning to form. But why are mine feathers, when those you see on the internet start out as hexagons? Sugar! I never knew why the internet recipe has sugar in it ... now I know, and I have to wait for another sunshiny, cold day to see if I can get a frozen bubble with some hexagonal shapes along with my feathery plain old bubble solution shapes. Let's see ... warming trend for the weekend, but cold at the beginning of next week. We'll see!
I love that feather

Sheralee @bella_ss The beginning of the freeze. I loved watching the crystals take shape, but was curious about their shape. I've now discovered that many on the internet have sugar in the bubble recipe ... makes a different shape crystal. Bucket list!
