Have you played with water beads? They are so calming! I bought some for oldest granddaughter for her birthday, played with them, and then had to buy her another package. This is littlest granddaughter fascinated by the feel of these odd little marvels. I was just as mesmerized watching her be mesmerized.
Such an adorable shot. Could you please fill me in on the water beads April, I have never heard of them and soon my two little granddaughters are coming on holiday ;-)
@ludwigsdiana Water beads were originally designed for floral arrangements, but have grown to be a popular sensory toy. They come as dehydrated beads but when water is added they grow into a squishy jelly like marble. They are ridiculously soothing to touch and hold, and there are a few diy projects people do with them, including putting them in balloons to make stress balls. They are also fun to measure and sort ... like sand or water but with a really captivating feel. I got mine from amazon, though I think you can find them in craft stores. If you go to youtube and search water beads you'll find lots of videos of them.
