Family drama continues. Mom is good in the mornings, weakens in the afternoons, and has terrible nights. It is obvious that my home is not the best option ... or even a safe option. Between my new hip and her new physical needs we are rapidly headed toward crisis. On the bright side, she's very alert and has had a lot of great conversations with grandkids. Being here is great for her mind ... if only we were strong enough to take care of her body.
caregiving is so difficult. I'm glad she is spending time with the grandchildren. that is priceless. prayers for some help in this time of great need for your family.
