Noticed this fellow in the flicker hollow this morning. He waited and waited until a lady approached, then flew out and settled next to her. She took little notice, so he flew back into the hole, calling to her. She still took no notice. Another fellow approached, and he quickly dispatched of the rival, again trying to get her to notice his find. He never did get her to check out the hole, but I'll be watching to see how this saga progresses.
