Harvest started late this afternoon. The wheat was ready. Then came the hail. Our fields are very spread out, and normally a hail storm just gets a few crops or fields. This was a huge storm with 75-89 mph winds driving the hail. It is the first time in 50 years of farming that we may actually see a total crop loss. Now we shift to salvage mode ...
So sad to hear about the storm destroying your wheat. How about for this week's Get Pushed challenge, either trying focus stacking ( https://digital-photography-school.com/a-beginners-guide-to-focus-stacking/) or photographing some tools of your trade (farm implements or photography equipment,...). Have fun.
Lovely capture though
