We broke zero F mid-morning with clear skies and sunshine. Couldn't resist trying the frozen bubble. Started with a granulated sugar mix, but couldn't get them to form, so added some corn syrup. Personally I like the glycerin bubble mix, but it doesn't get very pretty crystals. This one didn't really have the pretty sugar shaped crystallization either, but at least I got one to stay put. Would have gone out later, but the skies clouded over, the sun disappeared, and snow squalls moved through. Was hoping for a snowflake, but it was too cold for pretty ones to form.
Oh golly, this is absolutely beautiful. I did this once with mediocre results. It rarely gets and stays cold enough here to do this, but perhaps it will happen again.
I'm your Get Pushed Challenge partner this week. I've look through the past year of photos in your main album. I wondered if you would like to try a food photo. Something to tempt us with.
A FAV!
