The lights ebbed and flowed all night. Close to midnight they were reaching across the eastern horizon nearing Orion. They did eventually dance all around and through the constellation. I Liked the stark break between the colors and the night sky with this image.
@skipt07 We were lucky. Clear skies and the moon hadn't risen. After moonrise though the auroras were still active but the moonlight really diminished the visibility.
