A big butterfly! I did see two monarchs floating around the yard, but they never stopped. I think they were looking for the milkweed, but the hollyhocks are so dominating it's not easy to locate. Much to my surprise, though, this big black swallowtail came sailing in. She managed to find the milkweed! I've never seen a black swallowtail in my yard before. Wonderful surprise.
Hi April - in your winter I absolutely love how you do frozen bubbles. So cool. Maybe for your challenge this week, can you do something with bubbles - I know frozen is not possible, but I am sure you could come up with a creative way of showing or using bubbles in an image. Interesting challenge from you by the way. I look forward to trying this.
