A pair of robins have settled on a crook in one of the hackberry trees for their spring nest. While it is fun to watch them gathering and building, they are pretty aggressive at chasing away all the other birds. After my winter clean out of dead trees, these four hackberries are among the few tall trees left in the yard. I guess we will see how successful the robins are at defending their territory.
