Yes, I shoot a lot of birds because, well, that's what we have around here. It's actually quite extraordinary just how many different birds live and migrate through this area and I often wonder where all the birds are when we travel. Not a particularly artful image, but it is always so cool to see these guys, especially so out in the open!

You can't go wrong capturing a heron says the lady with all the heron shots LOL! I think they are fantastic birds. (We have them year around). His /her pose is very elegant, with the beautiful right eye, Great shot.
Nice capture and beautifully placed in front of the vegetation. (The few times I’ve been lucky enough to see one they’ve been lurking in the undergrowth.)
