Love Rocks

Many years ago I collected these stones from a beach in Greece where most of the rocks were a startling white color, it was truly stunning. I then polished them in a tumbler and they've been at home in a little white and blue dish made by the mommster ever since. The heart stone made a special appearance for February's Flash of Red day. I'm not normally a big fan of selective color, but when in Rome...

The little heart works well- and sometimes it's good to step out of the usual and do something unexpected. The Grecian stones are a perfect foil to the little red heart and the glazing on the bowl is just the right accent. Good shot- even if it's not something you normally do!
