Construction Art

To keep looky-loos safe and out of the work site, Cities often commission artwork to adorn the safety screens for better visual appeal during construction. While visiting San Diego, I spotted this one downtown and thought it was quite creative, Bob.

Thank you as ever for all your kind comments, favs and follows!

Peace
Really creative idea. On dark mode the photograph is even better.

I love all these patterns. Just want to come along with a marker and colour some of them in!

This is fantabulous, I love it and like @clearday I want to colour it in. Now you’ve used a word I need to add to my vocabulary, looky- loos!

Great find, and works so well with the patterned buildings behind.

Good spot! It raises questions for me... curiosity, almost always a good thing ;-)

A great idea.

Nice graphic piece. Looks like an ink drawing but I guess it can't be at that scale.

Very cool. Had to look carefully to figure this out. Happy urban designers and others support artists and create beauty for pedestrians and others in this way!
March 18th, 2021
It is interesting. Do you think it's meant to be a reflection of the buildings behind it?

Looks nice
March 18th, 2021
That is cool @randystreat good thinking - I was wondering if it was an installation error but that makes sense!

Definitely must see on black

Great find and capture

And you've made it into a super geometric image. :)

I really like the way you composed this shot- making the artwork seem mistakingly placed upside down when it apparently is supposed to go that way. Nice catch!
March 18th, 2021
Nice find. Great shot.

Cool street art! Great find.

Wonderful

Not only interesting but gives a 3D effect to what I assume is just a flat boarding.

Great find.........and art work!

Graphically a fab capture.
March 19th, 2021
Cool capture. Neat idea to cover up some of the construction sites.
March 19th, 2021
That's cool. My brain struggled to work out what I was looking at at first. :)

Extremely spectacular, but I couldn’t decide what it depicted. Maybe a city skyline set on your head or a car’s gearbox disassembled?

👌👌👌
