Making Faces

Nothing too creative here, but this was an incredible weekend for spotting wildlife--especially these guys. Today we went with a friend in search of the bobcats again in hopes of catching them in better light. We didn't find the kittens (cubs?!) and their mom, but we did find this large guy as well as two others. This male was considerably larger than the females and was out hunting for lunch. Got hand cramps grasping so tightly to my camera waiting for him to pounce as he postured several times, but he never actually did. This capture made me laugh, though!

What an amazing treat to see all this in one weekend. I've seen probably 3-4 bobcats in my entire time living here and have now seen seven in two days--SO cool!

Very nice capture!! The 1st time I saw a large male, I couldn't believe how big he was. I had to reassure myself it was a bobcat! Nice to find them in good light!

Although the DOW has reintroduced bobcats here (CO Rockies) I have yet to see one. Many of my friends have though! This male is really large!
