This evening on our way back from an errand, we saw that the sky was going to put on a show so we drove straight home, grabbed our gear and raced (at the legal speed limit, of course) back to the beach. Every single parking space was full--this NEVER happens--but we finally found a spot. Snatched up our cameras and tripods and headed as fast as we could to the dunes to catch at least one or two shots of the magnificent sky. I didn't bother to take the time to set up any kind of super interesting composition because the color and glory was fading fast. The one shot I did get that I liked turned out to be almost identical in framing to one I'd already posted (funny how that happens) so I settled for this instead.

we really are gifted with amazing sights such as this on Earth, and even better is we have people who can capture it beautifully! :D
