Today we went back to the Golden Eagle nest we visited last Friday in hopes of catching the chicks feeding. We are happy to report there are still two chicks in the nest, but no parental unit returned to the nest while we waited, so no Golden photos of worth to post just yet.
Spotted another Western Bluebird while waiting for the eagles, but it was too far away and I didn't get a good shot of it either. So instead, tonight I processed this one from yesterday's more successful shoot. It's pretty much SOOC with the addition of a light vignette and minor curves adjustment--these little guys really are that vibrant!
The simplicity of the composition, the bokeh clouds, that wonderful blue and rust -- outstanding. I love that he found a little S hook to perch on between the barbs, and his "what are you doing?" look.
where did you take this at?
do you live in the west?
