Bottled

Remember when you could actually get a cold pop in a glass bottle instead of plastic? Yum!
This is fantastic! Not to mention I'm a big Dr Pepper fan! FAV!!

Really nice J, love that nostalgic feel! Beautifully recessed and framed (as always!).

This is great - supercool processing - do you know, I don't think I had a Dr P out of a bottle...Coke is better out of a glass bottle, followed by can...plastic bottles make everything taste rubbish!! sorry not been keeping up very well with you lately - TOOO darned busy at work! Should take the advice of folk on here and give it up and just take photos all day it'd be much more fun!! LOL

Attractive processing... The muted red pop of Dr Pepper is nice. Never noticed the 10 2 4 before... Wonder what they mean.

Did the research... Not wondering anymore... the times of day when the human body needs a little “pick-me-up” to avoid an energy slump.

I do remember. They were the best. I love this photo and the way you processed it make it just lovely.

My aunt would only drink Coke in the small bottles. Did you ever buy a Dr. Pepper and put peanuts in it? Really nice composition.

One can STILL get Dr Pepper in 16 oz. returnable glass bottles in Deming, New Mexico. Only an hour from Silver City, and well worth the drive, even lugging all those bottles so you don't have to pay an additional deposit.
Wonderful photo, by the way. Perfect processing. Perhaps I need it for my DP memorabilia wall.....

Great processing
May 23rd, 2011
why is it that it tastes so much better in a bottle than in a can?
May 23rd, 2011
Dr. Pepper was and is my drink of choice. I remember buying it in those kinds of bottles. Great theme photo. Faved.

The bottle gives complexity to the simpleness of the delicate leaves.

Simply beautiful. And funny enough hubby told me the other day that he found a shop that sells cola in the glass bottles and that when he next goes in there he'll pick me up a few to photograph. lol. Definetely drink tastes better in glass bottles than the plastic, I have such fond memories of being a young Sarah and sitting in a pub garden with my parents having to share a bottle of cola with straws and the salt your own crisps. Aaaahhh memories.
