Headed out to check on the surfers today, but the winds were too high (again, some more) and was blowing out the waves, hence not a lot of action. But the winds do bring out a good many kiteboarders so we bundled up (is it really June??) and braved the gale forces and blowing sands to watch a couple of hotdoggers. Pretty cool!
Meanwhile, our hearts go out to Sherri and Gene, strangers we assisted this evening after witnessing Gene have a heart attack (?) and passing out while driving on the freeway. Puts life in perspective for sure; we're hoping for the best.
(Take two: I must not have clicked the "post comment" button earlier....) This is an incredible shot, Jenn. Superbly composed and clear, and an absolute favorite. Extreme action deserves, and got, extreme documentation.
I too am pulling for Gene, and sending positive thoughts. I'm so glad you guys were there. With sharing the experience on 365, there will be lots of hope being sent their way.
and I'm hoping for the best too.

Kisses and Hugs to both you wonderful ladies....
good vibes going to Gene and Sherri, for a good outcome....
