Found out that Gene was awake and sitting up today, even speaking, so we headed to the hospital with flowers and a "get well" card. Turns out he got transferred to another hospital in San Luis. We wanted to drive into town, but the ICU doesn't allow flowers so we got Mexican food for supper instead.

Ole for Gene.. :) Glad to hear it was a good out come, and hope /pray for a speedy recovery for him. and glad you got to find out he was on the mend. Nothing worse than helping someone and never finding out if they made it or not. :)
