We revisited the baby owls today even though it was waaaay windy. In just a couple of days their feathers have started to look a lot less like cotton and more like the real thing. We're guessing they should be starting to fly in a couple of weeks. Mom was nearby, but I guess she was camera shy as she simply would not open her eyes for a photo!
@zferrie Thanks, Zoe! I used a 400 /5.6 prime for this shot. They are only a street width's distance away so that helps. Someday when it's not so freakin' windy I may actually get a truly sharp shot! ;-)
Again another gorgeous shot, and answering your question again, a few months ago I wrote this to you "@aikiuser and you know you are one of my inspirations, I already said that.
I am using Dynamic-Photo , Photomatix, CS5 and Lightroom 3, and I bought some books, one of them Practical HDR by David Nightingale and and I reading a lot. I wish I had more time to play around, between, taking the photos, editing, posting, and browsing through people that I follow is time consuming, and plus work and life generally, not that I am complaining, I love doing all of that, I just wish a day of 30 hours sometime"
@alecio Thanks, Alecio! I do remember you wrote about all this a while back, but I had forgotten that you were using Dynamic Photo and couldn't find your earlier response on my little iPhone earlier (too long to load each photo to look!) So I got lazy and just asked again, sorry 'bout that!!! this time I will burn it into my tiny little brain and hopefully remember. ;-) At any rate, your work is fantabulous!!
