Anchor and Hope
The Anchor and Hope, established in 1865, on Frome Road in Trowbridge.
Here's a review...
'A True British Drinker's Pub
What can you say! The pub is a true British drinkers pub, there is none of this wine bar rubbish.
If you like to have a good drink after work or or the weekend, with good old locals willing to have a chat, play cards or pool it's a place to go.
It's just a pub that shows the sport and you can have a laugh.
The lardlord is a character on his own. It's worth just going in to have a drink with him.
Just one thing DONT wake him as it's like waking the beast of Exmoor!'
Are you coming in?
