As you can see the river is up at the ford crossing in our village - about 5 &1/2 feet now, so totally impassable to get to the house (and its neighbour next door) by car!!!
This is not usual for this time of year but its not particular convenient for the residents across the river!
@ankers70 No thank goodness, else I wouldn't be going anywhere, I live on higher ground about 5 minutes walk away, the two houses (the photo only shows one) are across the ford on the lower ground. One is definitely a holiday home only used between Easter & October when its a lot drier. The other I'm not to sure about - I think that maybe a second home again probably only used in the drier months!
