Colour-selected Phoenix by alia_801

Colour-selected Phoenix

Had to try out the colour-select mode on the girls... Unfortunately they're a bit too colourful for it to get them completely (hence a couple of grey areas on Phoenix's face), but it does a pretty good job. I love the wistful look about this pic...
how cute is he

Great shot - does colour select do the background in B&W and foreground in colours you choose? Please give me a lesson:)

@buggus Yep, Phoenix is our resident interior blind designer... She crafted her window seat all by herself!

@brittgow Yep, that's exactly what the colour select mode does. (I think it's officially called 'Colour accent' The symbol on my camera is a little ink dropper with a big 'A' next to it). You point at something that's the colour you want to 'accent' and then you can choose how much of a spread around that colour you want to keep - everything else ends up black and white. Lots of fun and a good way to pretend you're being artistic!
@murnane definitely give it a go if you have it on your camera... lots of fun!

Phoenix asked me to thank everyone for their lovely comments. She's glad to have such a wonderful fan club :)
