These flowers popped out today. Not sure what they are, or why the white balance on my camera is off so much (the flowers are actually burgundy!) but I like this shot anyway. SOOC apart from cropping.
Pretty! guess I have to either get a white/gray card or make sure I have a solid white in my photo as I need to adjust my white balance once & for all. I hope.
I have a feeling they are called Cosmos - but I may be quite wrong. It is a very beautiful flower indeed. Love the yellow centre and those pretty petals.
I do like the color, but I have the hardest time with deep blue/medium purple flowers like hyacinths in getting them to not come out royal blue, no matter how much i fiddle with the camera.
