Cute vet statue

Today was mostly centred around a trip to the vet so certain parrots could get their (very sharp!) nails trimmed. It was a bit stressful as Phoenix didn't want to go in her travel cage (usually she'll go straight in and Magic is the one causing a fuss, but today the roles were reversed). The vets are avian specialists, and they have a number of cute statues outside the surgery. This is my favourite - it makes me giggle every time we visit...

@murnane We're lucky - there are two avian vets in Melbourne (that I know of) both quite close to us. This is Burwood Bird and Animal Hospital. Ha! What a great sense of humor they have! Luckily, my conure lets me trim his nails and beak without too much of a fuss (using a dremel tool with a sanding bit)
