Crazy autumn flower

This morning was spent completing an 18km (just over 11 miles) sponsored walk to help raise funds for Oxfam and help alleviate poverty around the world. This was followed by a quick trip to the bakery, a hot shower, and a lot of curling up under a duvet (doona, to the Aussies). While trekking around this morning I spotted this crazy-looking flower just coming in to bloom...
