Didn't really find anything new for today's challenge ('Something new to you') but we have an adventure planned for tomorrow, so I used a wildcard today instead. It was the Grand Final in the local netball competition we first aid at each week, so there were lots of people milling around. I'm still not really up to taking pics in public, so I practiced my surreptitious photography skills. This pic was pretty average, so I stuck with my philosophy: if in doubt, overprocess! (I love picnik!)
Wonderful processing. It's getting to the GF stage in our league too - not that I follow it now that my kids have finished playing. I'm not good at taking photos of people I don't know either. I even asked the cafe people this avo if they minded me taking a couple of photos. They didn't mind in the least, but still nice to ask I think.
Alia- you had me chuckling with your commentary. Actually I think your surreptitious picture is quite interesting. I like that it's not perfectly balanced with the people in the center. To me it's better with them up in the upper third of the picture. And I'm with you- I've had a couple shots that I thought were so-so, and Picnik came to the rescue! I've already used one wildcard but the second might show up tomorrow. I am not into selfies! Nice shot- great processing!
