People I'm lucky to have in my life #1 - Thankful 4 challenge

This is tricky since most of my friends are overseas, and I don't like taking pictures of people, so I decided to get pics of the gifts that make me think of my wonderful friends whenever I see them.

Regular viewers of my pics will recognise this one! Mavis was roaming around the kitchen trying to break into these walnuts when I spotted her today! She was a gift from one of my oldest school friends, Nicola, as part of a WWF turtle sponsorship. I haven't seen Nic in more than 3 years, but hope to catch up very soon - and whenever we do meet up it's like we've never been apart (though this time she'll have her 1-year old daughter in tow!).
