My favorite time of the week. Still in my bathrobe at 10 am with breakfast and the paper. I only get the paper delivered on the weekend, (Usually I read it in snatches online.) and Saturday is the only day I have time for 2 cups of tea. I alternate my tea pots and china for a visual feast. This pot came from a gift shop that was closing its doors in Richmond. Several years later I found the matching cup in a shop in St. Michaels MD. The plate was purchased in Copenhagen and displays figures from the work of Hans Christian Andersen.
What a novel idea...to actually USE some of the pretty china one has. Am sure it gets your day off to a good start while often bringing back good memories at the same time.
