Mothers by allie912

Mothers

May 6 is my mother's birthday, and although she died the year I graduated from college, she is still in my thoughts. My daughter made this for me when she was in 5th grade. With this gift she gave me the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. With Mother's Day approaching, I can't help but think about the thread that connects mothers and daughters. My daughter never knew her grandmother but we still are connected with bonds of love.
How sweet. :)

I love this Allison. Isn't it funny how these little things mean more to us than the forgotten sweater or new outfit or other gift someone bought us?
