Abandon...Hope! by allie912

Abandon...Hope!

In light of yesterday's historic plunge of the stock market, I thought this little wooden sculpture would be appropriate. The title I chose links the picture to this week's theme. I hope it is only temporary, but this investor on my husband's desk has been appalled for many years.
This sculpture is cute. He sure had reason for his alarm on his face yesterday. Hopefully abandonment of hope is only a small temporary thing.

Hi....had forgotten about eating raw rhubarb...we did that too with a little dish of sugar to dip it in! Maybe it is a "child thing" as don't fancy it now at all!

Nice sculpture and very poignant for marking the day in history. You will be able to look back at your year and know exactly what happened that day.
re: how many Richmonders - I've counted about 10-12. I'm considering organizing a get-together. Somewhere like the Dooley Mansion at Maymont. But it might be difficult to find a time when all of us can meet. What do think?
