Abandoned

Actually this was a lovely ivy-covered outbuilding on the grounds of a beautiful old home in Richmond. But shifting to B&W sure changed the atmosphere.
You certainly made the camera lie on that occasion!! Fun to do that.

I guess this is another example of that "you can't believe your own eyes" !!!!! LOL
It is amazing how changing to b&w or changing to sepia changes a photo; as well as the lighting changes thruout the day makes a huge difference to the "mood" of the photo.

Wow! The B&W sure did change the "ambiance" of this very pretty vine-covered building!

That's an interesting shot Allison and your treatment of it certainly lends an eerie quality! What's the deal with the door to nowhere at the top of your shot?

With respect to my energy monitor photo... there's a sensor clips round the cable coming out of the electricity meter that detects how much current is being drawn and calculates and displays it as watts used. It's quite interesting going round the house switching things on and off and watching it flip the numbers round :)

Love the effect. I can't imagine living in a house covered with plants. This was a great idea for the eerie theme.
