Looking Up

This generic office building in my neighborhood was probably built in the 60's. It has a number of repetitive elements in its design. Sunshine and blue sky help to soften the bland face of the building but it will never win any prizes for innovation.
It appears that i have passed the 365 mark on my picture taking but the number is deceptive. That is the combined total of 2 albums. I still have a long way to go!
I agree, those older buildings are so boring compared to the more modern ones, but they still have character.

This older building with its many windows and castings makes for a very repetitive photo.
Great for the theme.

These older buildings are very stark and utilitarian for sure! But this makes for a great repetition shot!

Love the angle of this shot.

As to my vinyl, I am looking for someone to buy them. There is a store, Vintage Vinyl which might be interested. I am waiting for a call back.

I kinda like 1960's buildings, but this really is quite utilitarian! Sometimes I comment on a building that I quite like and people look at me as though I'm mad!

thanks, as always, for checking out my stuff. the shot of the man walking, that you noticed some paint like blurriness, was sooc. just driving past him and took a shot.

this is a great entry for the theme, and big congrats on your nomination for urban decay!
