Waiting for Spring

The carousel on the National Mall seems abandoned in the dead of winter, but wait for those first warm Spring afternoons and the horses will be galloping again.

Wonderful photo- it says so much. The black and white is perfect for a still winter carousel, but it still has the promise of fun in the spring. I love carousels.
