Stars and Stripes

If you had an eagle eye, you might have seen this on the teacher in yesterday's Wacky Wednesday collage. I felt it was deserving of a picture of its own. Nowadays we don't wear bold jewelry much unless we're playing a role, either on stage or in life.

Not at all sure what Wacky Wednesday was, but I wear sparkles every day, just for me, I don't save them for special occasions - I love this brooch and would wear it on my jacket any day of the week ;)

very nice! I still have some of my mom's brooches. I keep meaning to start wearing them! Thanks for the reminder! @dollybeads -- I'm not surprised to hear that about you! I do also, usually in the form of big rings, and now I plan to start putting brooches on my jacket!
