We Will Survive

Earlier this week I showed you the area at school where trees had been removed to make way for new classrooms. I didn't want you to think all our wonderful trees will be lost. Here you see two stately oaks on the lawn behind the library. You can also see the construction fence, close to this impromptu picnic, but being resolutely ignored by the mother and her toddlers.
Glad to see that some could remain, although I'm sure they'll plant more after all the work is done. Go Mom!

The two oak trees give lots of shade to play or relax under. I'm sure they will do a great landcaping around the new addition.
