The American Mosaic

Today was the dress rehearsal for the Fourth Grade Mosaic, their annual production in which they share the history of our country in music and words. The students prepare by researching men and women significant in history from the founding of the nation through the westward expansion. It is a process that includes the library, the music and art teachers as well as the classroom teachers. As the culminating activity they dress as characters in history and share what they have learned in a most entertaining way. Today they shared it with their schoolmates. Tomorrow their parents make up the audience.
