Jenga is a game of physical and mental skill. During the game, players take turns removing one block at a time from a tower constructed of 54 blocks. Each block removed is then balanced on top of the tower, creating a progressively taller but less stable structure.
The name jenga is derived from a Swahili word meaning "build"
During the Children's Message at church the minister used an abbreviated version to illustrate the concept of "self control." You can see the young man on the left taking his turn, pulling a piece from within the stack with great care. The little girl on the right had it all figured out. She took off the top piece, no problem!
