Here you see grilled cheese on sourdough bread, tomato basil soup and fresh fruit. Normally I wouldn't choose a picture of a humble soup and sandwich meal for my photo of the day, but I must confess, today I never left the house. Church was cancelled due to snow and John took over the car clearing duty so I stayed indoors and read and watched a few good movies. And since the announcement for school cancellation came through early this afternoon, I look forward to another cozy day tomorrow.
Sounds like a great snow day. We talked to my sister-in-law in Midlothian yesterday as she watched the snow coming down. She was planning to stay indoors, too.
Ha! I just posted a photo of my morning coffee! It's a little too dangerous to venture out. Thought I might try a little food photography too! Stay warm, Allison!
Now THIS looks like everything a snowed-in day should be! On those "been cozy all day" days, it's not unusual for us to have a fried egg, bacon and toast supper. Not every night has to test our cooking skills! I'd love a meal like this!
