Today was the reception for the 6 members of the faculty who are retiring at the end of the school year. The Head of the Board of Trustees spoke and gave us each a very nice plaque. He did inform us that when all our years of teaching were calculated, we had given Collegiate 200 years!
Along with former colleagues who returned to share in the celebration, John and daughter Meg were both there. (Our son Max is in the process of moving and remained at home in Florida.) it was such a delight to have Meg back in Richmond, catching up with former teachers and classmates. It was a great celebration of 31 wonderful years of being part of this amazing community.
