The hottest day of the year with afternoon temperatures hitting 100 and high humidity too, but we braved a trip to The Diamond to see the hometown Richmond Squirrels face off against the Erie Seawolves. The reward was to be fireworks to celebrate the anniversary of the lunar landing. Unfortunately, little boys who have been traveling all day and playing hard all afternoon couldn’t quite make it to the end of the game. We returned to the blessed comfort of air conditioning and prepare for another busy day tomorrow
