I walked to the pool to read and get some fresh air. I got there just as the sun made an appearance above the trees before heading down for the night. The days are getting shorter, but it is still definitely summer weather in Virginia. Despite the temperature, families and teachers are turning their attention to the beginning of school. I am wrapping my brain around the fact that I do not have to.

It will take time to work to a new tune after the years of loving your day to day interactions in the school environment and with people you got along with so well. That was so evident in so many of your photos and they are treasure now.
